Todd & I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary yesterday. To some, that’s not very long & to others it’s like a lifetime. I have spent the last two weeks sick, so Todd has definitely been living out the “in sickness and in health” portion of our vows.
We plan out our bucket list of all the things we are going to do by ourselves once the kids have grown up & we are left with an empty nest. We may never make it, but there’s no harm in “green hat thinking” as well call it. Green Hat Thinking is when you sit there & talk about every option, dream, plan, whatever you want. Neither of you can shoot it down, because it is there is no limit to how far you can think! (Black Hat Thinking is Realistic thoughts, it’s the opposite of Green Hat Thinking.)
Greece, an ex-patriot assignment in Latin America, travelling the US by airstream, travel to Fiji, a trip to Tower of London & golfing lessons to name a few. We have a larger list, but 6 for 6 years is good for us!
